Love: 4 Months

Age: 4 months

Weight: 14 pounds 2 ounces (25th percentile)

Length: 24 inches (10th percentile and the doctor thinks a growth spurt is near)

Clothing Size: 3-6 months

Likes: Connor loves to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and there are shows that he does not like to watch.  He also likes to watch the Poppin’ Giraffe. He loves being talked to, and is full of smiles and giggles. He also loves baths, he can go from crying to completely happy for his bath.

Dislikes: Connor does not care for being left alone. He likes be in the kitchen while I’m cooking, so often times he sits in his bumbo while I am cooking or doing dishes.

In his bumbo in the kitchen while I cook.

Sleeping: At the beginning of the month he was doing a lot better, sleeping from about 9:15 pm until 3 or 4 am every night. However, I think he has started teething and he may only make it until 2 am before waking up. There have been many times that he woke up and didn’t eat, just wanted to snuggle. We have also gotten bad about putting him in our bed again.

Eating: Connor eats about 7 times a day. He knows when it is time for his bedtime feeding, even if he just ate an hour ago. At his 4 month doctor appointment she suggested starting cereal at dinner time to help with his bedtime feeding, he is sometimes very aggressive at that feeding.

Playing: Connor got in the jumper for the very first time. He is still figuring it out, but when he is in it, he seems to like it. Not very often is he content while just playing by himself, he likes for someone to be there with him. However, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse allows for us to get a lot done, including showers. He is also becoming more interested in his play mat. He will sit under it and swat at the toys and look in the mirror. He also likes to try and sit up, whether in his boppy or pulling up in his bouncer.

What we did this Month: We celebrated mommy’s very fist Mother’s Day by going to Patti’s 1800s Settlement. It was a great dinner date. Then mommy took Connor home for the very first time by herself, leaving daddy at home for 2 whole days. It was a long weekend for daddy without us. Mommy finished the school year, and is finally home with Connor every day. Before she finished school I made a trip there to meet all the kids. They were really excited. After school got out we took a trip to grandma and grandpa’s, again leaving daddy at home because he had to work. This time it was for 6 days though. Daddy didn’t like us being gone, but he was very busy with work.
